Prosvetov Y. Side-Effects of Anti-TB Preparations of Allergic Character in Patients with Pulmonary TB (hormonal-metabolic and immunal aspects of pathogenesis, prophylaxy and treatment)

The object of the study is pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB). Its aim is to raise the effectiveness of treatment of PTB patients with allergic side effects for antituberculous preparations (ATP). Moreover to substantiate and to develop the system of measures for prophylaxis and overcoming of chemotherapy (CT) allergic complications. The methods of investigation have been general clinical, allergic, laboratory, bronchologic, radiologic. The results obtained are that both new approaches for optimum PTB patients' treatment with aggravated allergological and pharmaco - theraputic history with allergic complications for specific drugs have been substantiated and the system of measures aimed for improving of ATP tolerance, using nonspecific and specific hyposensibilization, plasmapheresis, their combinations have been grounded. It was proved pointless to use imunecorrecting drug by PTB patients with allergic CT complications. It's recommended to use adequate CT simultaneously with gastro and hepatoprotectors by PTB patients with concomitant liver and digestive system pathology. Phthisiology is the sphere of their use.
