Essay

One of ways of solving durability increase problem and decrease of energy intensity refractory materials which are among the major technical products is offered. On the basis of the determined general laws of influence of sodium oxide concentration on fire properties and mineral-forming of refractory systems CaO-SіO2, Al2O3-SіO2, MgO-SіO2, MgO-Al2O3 at temperature 900-1400оС scientific bases and technical decisions of obtaining refractory concrete with heightened thermal and mechanical properties, and identical refractoriness of a binder matrix and fillers are worked out. They allow designing compositions of the refractory concrete with the predicted temperature of application and durability. Concrete is obtained with the following properties: refractoriness 1680-2000°С, deformation temperature under loading 1150-1770°С and thermal stability is 2-3 times higher than that of similar bricks. The complex of their properties necessary for manufacture and usage is studied. Results of industrial implementation have shown considerable prospect of use of the developed concrete for lining up of thermal units.
