Essay

The object is a body with liquid. The aims – development of methods for solution problems of dynamics. The methods is analytical mechanics and mechanics of liquid. The new approach.– The motion of the rigid body with ellipsoidal cavity containing the ideal liquid by means of method of Lagrange’s and Hamiltonian mechanics was investigated. The rotation of body with the ellipsoidal cavity containing the porous damper and the viscous liquid was investigated. The mathematical model for description of motion of pole of Earth was proposed. In the case when the model freely rotate around of center of mass the pole make oscillations with Chandler’s period. The configuration of model is describing by minimal quantity of coordinates. The field is celestial mechanics and dynamics of body with liquid.
