Essay

The object of research: nonlinear electric circuits with electric arc. The purpose of research: determination of the fundamental and technologic properties of electric arc as a nonlinear part of electric circuits; revelation of regularities and mechanisms of chaos appearance in these circuits as well scenarios its development. Creation of mathematical methods of nonlinear dynamical system investigation and determination of properties of electric circuits with arc that have fundamental, interdisciplinary nature. Methods of research: analytic and numeric methods of research of physical phenomena which take place in electric circuits with arc; computer simulation of transient processes, stability methods, methods of quality theory of ordinary differential equations, methods of bifurcation theory. Theoretical and practical results and innovations: mathematical models of geometry properties dynamics notably column radius and length. These models can be applied for determination of arc technology parameters: dynamical force act on metal, acoustic influence on environment especially on human as well to improve technological process of consumable electrode welding. A subject and degree of introduction: the results are recommended to use in developments of Paton Welding Institute, and in education process of NTU “KPI”. Effectiveness of implantation: improvement of arc equipment. Sphere of use: electric arc technologies.
