Kardash A. Complex renewing surgical treatment of patients with traumatic nerves injury (clinical and experimental research).

Dissertation is devoted to a problem of differential choice of method of thoracolumbar trauma surgical treatment. Clinical material is based on data of about 121 patients with thoracolumbar trauma observation and treatment. There were 73% men, the medium age of patients was 33,9 years.The data of traumatic disease clinical flow and additional methods of investigation were analyzed. The comparative analysis of surgical approaches (anterolateral, lateral, posterolateral, posterior) for thoracolumbar trauma was made. The main factors that influence on the choice of approach were selected (patient's age, his/her condition severity, level of injury and compression localization, neurological status, integrity or break of posterior osseous and ligamentous complex). The differential schema of a approaches choice was made. Methods of decompression and stabilization were studied, developed, and improved. The assessment of patients' with thoracolumbar trauma life quality after operation was made firstly.
