On the basis of voluminous material the dissertation studies the transformation processes, transformation activities and their methods concerning political culture of contemporary Ukraine, caused by the global informatisation of world. The dissertation is based on methodological principles which appear in the role of reference-points during the researches. For the fist time in Ukrainian political studies the question of influence of global informatisation upon the transformation of political culture of Ukraine is raised. The peculiarities of culture transformation under condition of the development of new information-communicative technologies are exposed. The causes and consequences are exposed. The causes and consequences of transformation activity in the political and culture space under condition of global informatisation of society are examined. The role of mass media in the process of political culture transformation is appraised at its worth. The particulars of influence of political communication on changes in political culture of global information of society are revealed. The peculiarities of political culture of information society are singled ont. The factors of influence upon the processes of political culture transformation, tendencies and methods of political culture influence upon the transformation processes in Ukraine are singled ont. The main trends of information strategy of Ukraine in modern geopolitical space are distinguished. An attempt has been made to predict the development of political culture in Ukraine under conditions of global informatisation; the outstanding role of new information technologies upon the formation of new political culture has been grounded.
