Dissertation is appeared to be the first complex fundamental research with the use of modern scientific knowledge methods, newest researches of legal science and practical experience of important science problem — legal regulation of public order protection in Ukraine. In research the system is characterized, defined a legal status powers and the competence of subjects of public order protection, including bodies of the state executive power, the law-enforcement organizations, local governments, public organizations and associations of citizens. Subjects of public order protection are the state and its legislative, executive and judicial bodies which the state delegated certain powers of a public order with the account distributions between them the competence, forms, methods and ways of their realization; local governments, public organizations and associations, the usual citizens which right to carry out public order protection by lawful measures is provided by the Constitution of Ukraine and other laws
