Essay

Subject - Reinforced concrete slab structures (RCSS) of various thickness functioning as load bearing (floor structure) or supporting (base slabs) structures; aim - RCSS model development that would reflect RCSS actual performance at permanent and seismic loads adjusted for physical nonlinearity of concrete and fissuring; methods - state-of-the-art information technologies as the basis for designing and practical implementation of numerical methods of linear algebra and finite element method using PC; structural logical simulation; results - acquisition of new scientifically grounded results, which in their totality reveal RCSS performance in complex stress strain state; novelty - a new mechanical model developed for deformation of reinforced concreted slabs of various thickness in complex stress strain state. Evaluation performed of load bearing capacity and stiffness of RCSS of various thickness adjusted for actual deformation properties of reinforced concrete, implementation of formation of nonlinear connections of equation solution using finite element method that describes RCSS performance as that of plates of dissimilar thickness adjusted for fissures; implementation the norms of State Construction Code (ДБН) В.1.1-12.2006 "Construction in Seismic Regions of Ukraine" during design of construction facilities, scientific and technical support of complex multi-storied facilities.
