Thesis is devoted to the exploration of theoretical and practical problems of administrative and legal maintenance of participation of the staff of Ministry of internal affairs in the international peacekeeping operations. The analysis of the system of peacekeeping operations was done and the history of the participation of the staff of militia of Ukraine in peacekeeping activity had been fulfilled. The legal base of the process of peacekeeping activity and the participation in it of the staff of the Ministry of Interior were considered.
