Dolzhenkov A. Scientific basis of developing high-efficiency individual protection means for miners

The thesis is devoted to an urgent issue of developing efficient individual protection means for miners based on determining multivariate relationships between injury severity in topographic zones of the body of a miner working in various mine/mining conditions, and the amount and character of hazardous/dangerous occupational factors. An innovative system of developing efficient individual protective means for miners is suggested and substantiated, where the risk and severity of injury caused by a typical combination of mine factors at working place are determined. It enables to ascertain protection reliability of a miner equipped with an optimum set of individual protection means; and justify advanced development guidelines.
