Essay

This thesis is the first systemic and analytic study of contemporary Ukrainian drama in the aspect of influence of intertextual and itersubject correlation of the piece on its semantic, stylistic and genre slices. It became possible by virtue of making more precise terminological apparatus and applying of the principles and methods of intertextual analysis acquired not only in the sphere of study of literature, but also in allied philological disciplines. On the basis of adjusted classification of intertextual elements and adapted to the specificity of drama communicative pattern of art work there was conducted analysis of the most informative material of contemporary Ukrainian drama, developed the motion of readers' and authors' strategies of intertextuality in the texts of classical, non-classical and neoclassical types of dramaturgical writing.
