Shcherbina V. The functions of labour law.

The thesis is devoted to researching the problems of the function of labour law in the terms of market relations. The author introduced a new classification of functions of labour law and determined their place in the system of functions of labour law. The importance of protective action of labour law norms in the terms of market relations has been ascertained as the integral part of providing the worker’s security, creating the comfortable working environment and the rights for personal and domestic life inviolability. The social – legal basis of these preventive measures presuppose the realization of the constitutional idea of a person as the greatest social value in the labour law. The problem that provide the capability of labour law take the special place, so the general social functions of labour law are examined, namely: economic, social, psychological, educational and managing functions.
