Essay

The object of research is the process of enterprise performance management. The aim is development of the theoretical and methodological basis of conceptual and methodological terms of the performance management of industrial enterprises in market economy conditions and the development of appropriate mechanism and practical recommendations to improve the efficiency of the enterprises of Ukrainian food industry. The method is a retrospective and system analysis, economic-mathematical modeling, deductive method, econometric methods, statistical methods and economic analysis, mathematical programming, the method of modular algorithms development, organizational design and management simulation. Theoretical and practical results - the development of theoretical-methodological and methodical terms, analytical and organizational approaches and tools to form a holistic mechanism for controlling the efficiency of industrial enterprises and to improve the performance of other subjects. Novelty - design and development of theoretical and methodological foundations of management mechanism that provides continuous and steady increase of the efficiency of industrial enterprises, and justification of organizational approaches and methodical provisions needed for its practical implementation in market economy conditions. The degree of implementation - food industry enterprises, government and local executive authorities, investment companies, the International Centre for Policy Studies and academic activities of ONPU. The field of utilization is economics and enterprise management, higher education.
