Essay

The object of study - the process of increasing the reliability of information transmitted through the use of algebraically specified convolutional code constructions. The purpose of the study - the development of a conceptual approach based on new methods of synthesis, coding and decoding of convolutional code constructions using the mathematical apparatus of the algebraic theory error-correcting coding to improve the reliability of the information. The methods of study: methods of algebraic theory of error-correcting coding theory of Galois fields and number theory, and methods of statistical communication theory, probability theory and mathematical statistics, and methods of the theory of digital automata. The scientific result - development of the theory of error-correcting coding part of the synthesis, coding and decoding algebraically given convolutional code constructions (with arbitrary code characteristics and properties). The practical result - development of algorithms for synthesis, coding and decoding algebraically given convolutional code constructions with the necessary (code) characteristics, which can be computationally realized. Introduction - KAFU, CKKB "Proton", UkrSART. An application domain - telecommunications systems and networks.
