Object: process of socio-economic development of national economy. Purpose: development of theoretical-methodological principles and practical recommendations on the improvement of government control of socio-economic development of Ukraine. Methods: comparative, factor, problem-situational, statistical, technical-economic analysis, design and mathematical. Results: forms and methods of combination of mechanism of government control of development of national economy are first grounded in market conditions, the scientific-methodological going is improved near a management the parameters of socio-economic development. Use: by a Committee on Problems of State Building and Local Self-Government of the Supreme Rada of Ukraine at forming of strategic directions of socio-economic development of Ukraine on 2010 and next years, in the educational process of the National University of Water Economy and Nature Management.
