Zabolotna D. Clinical and experimental study on the use of probiotics in complex therapy of chronic nonspecific inflammatory and allergic diseases of upper respiratory tract

Dissertation focuses on improving the efficiency of complex treatment of non-specific inflammatory and allergic diseases of upper respiratory tract, through ex-perimental and clinical-laboratory study of the principles of local and general use probiotic preparations made on the basis of lactobacillus bacteria (Lactobacillus murinus and Lactobacillus rhamnosus). Experimental justification for the use of probiotic preparations in treated patients with non-specific inflammatory and allergic diseases of the respiratory tract. 110 patients with chronic tonsillitis, 100 patients with chronic sinusitis, and 80 patients with allergic rhinitis were examined and treated contrary to 20 healthy persons. The method of probiotic use for treatment of patients with non-specific inflammatory and allergic diseases of upper respiratory tract was proposed. In pa-tients with nonspecific inflammatory and allergic diseases of upper respiratory the irregularities of microbiocenosis upper respiratory tract and colon, as well as over-all performance of local immunity, were detected.
