Kucher V. Forming the investment strategy of a coal mine development

The thesis presents the results of elaboration of methodological and methodical approaches to provision of optimal management of investments on basic production processes of a coal mine. The author offers the technique to classify coal mines by degree of investment attractiveness. Regression models are obtained for mines of dif-ferent groups; they characterize the dependence of coal extraction volumes on vari-ables and factors which have influence on investment attractiveness of mines of dif-ferent groups. The conception of strategic groups is offered which is based on pro-duction and investment development oriented to the enterprise the best one in the group. The methodology for managing life cycle of the investment project on prepa-ration and development of new mining extracted areas is worked out which allows finding optimal number of stoping faces. The model of optimization of the invest-ment project's parameters is offered. The thesis presents the methods expedient for forecasting prime cost and volumes of coal extraction when realizing the investment project and ways of their integration into the united system of technical and economic planning of a coal mine.
