Object of researches is a selection process, selection structure of herds, processes of forming of selection kernel of pedigree factory; influence of factors of feeding and technology of maintenance on productivity and quality of products at the sheep of different genotypes. Purpose of researches - scientific and practical improvement of selection process in the herds of sheep of fine-fleece meat-wool direction of productivity on the basis of theoretical ground of methods of their selection at of pure breed breeding and crossing taking into account the state of the co-operation "genotype-environment. The methods of researches are zootech, laboratory-analytical, biometric, mathematical. Results of researches: 1. For a theory - the system of selection of sheep of breed of Prekos is Grounded at of pure breed breeding and crossing with the use of the best world gene pool of sheep of fine-fleece and semifine-fleece breeds, that provides the rise of production of goods and improvement of its quality. Influencing of factors of full value and level of feeding is scientifically confirmed first, technologies of maintenance on forming and degree of achieving productivity by the sheep of breed of Prekos, Polwarth and cross-breeds of different genotypes, the degree of adaptation of sheep of different generations in the process of pure breed breeding and crossing is set. 2. For practice - the Kharkov inbreed type of sheep in the breed of Prekos is Created, the factory type "Ilichevka", 5 new lines. Saving to sole on territory SNG of genofond herd of pedigree sheep of breed of Polwarth is well-to-do. The sphere of the use is the economies on breeding of sheep.
