Essay

The dissertation focuses on improving therapy methods for treating acute enteric infections (AEI) in children. It also presents clinical-experimental grounds for these therapy methods. This work studies pathogenetic meaning of some сytokines (IL-1, 2, 6, TNF - tumour necrosis factor, INF-alpha), studies condition of hemostasis and fibrinolysis systems, condition of central and peripheral haemodynamics in children with AEI. We have experimentally studied influence of salmonellosis toxin on intestine's motor and absorbing function. We have experimentally proved expediency of using alpha interferon and phyto concentrates with antibacterial, antiviral, antioxidant and reparative features. Use of low-intensity laser irradiation of blood in complex therapy of children's acute enteric infections accelerates normalisation of changes in systems of hemostasis and fibrinolysis. Use of recombinant alpha-interferon normalises condition of interferonоgenesis systems, and accelerates involution of pathological symptoms of the illness. Use in treatment of children sick with severe acute intestinal manifestations of distal colitis monofraktional multicomponent modulated phytokontcentrates contributes to a significant reduction in the duration of intoxication, vomiting, diarrhea, helps eliminate pathologic admixtures in faeces, and accelerating the repair of the mucous tunic of the colon.
