The object of research: processes, conditions and laws for the agricultural production in the period of market transformations based on organizational and economic mechanisms to ensure its development. Aim: development of methodological principles of the mechanism of economic development of agricultural production in the period of market transformations, including scientifically based proposals and practical recommendations for improving its operation after the agrarian reform. Methods: dialectic method of knowledge, a systematic approach, structural-functional, expert evaluations, comparative analysis, abstract and logical, monographic, statistics and economic analysis and synthesis, deduction, statistical groupings, image construction, classification and typology. Theoretical and practical results: theoretical and methodological developments and research findings of the research in the transformed plane applied to solve pressing problems of agriculture production, some of them laid the foundations for the development of laws and regulations, the scope of which is not limited to agricultural sector, others - brought to the level of generalization and practical recommendations to improve organizational and economic mechanism of development of the leading sector of national economy. Scientific novelty: first used a multidisciplinary approach to research development production process as too difficult to justify the basic laws and the need for a harmonious combination of organizational and market impact of economic tools and instruments for the development of the agricultural sector, the need for corporate partnership building production and management systems, compliance with structural requirements sustainable development at the present stage, the peculiarities of the concept of organizational-economic mechanism of development of agricultural production after the agrarian reform to justify the system-integration approach to developing agricultural state target programs. Degree of implementation: suggestions by taking the preparation of position papers and scientific reports, and accepted for implementation by the Committee on Agrarian Policy and Land Relations of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, the Department of Agricultural Development of Kyiv Regional State Administration, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
