Essay

The thesis comprises an attempt to integrate the descriptions of grammatical system of Arabic (classical and literary) created in the Arabic and the Western (Greco-Romanian) linguistic traditions in one linguistic model. The author has selected the two dimensions of three-dimensional stratigraphic model of linguistic competention, - a detalisation and a generalization ones as the basis for such model. The author's model permits to integrate in one conceptual space the grammatical phenomena, various approaches to their examinations and statements, that such exa­minations are based on, which acquires special importance in learning the grammar of the very literary and classical Arabic language.
