Protsenko V. The new approaches for the treatment of patients with the giant cell bone tumours (experimentally-clinical research)

Dissertation is devoted the issue of the day to oncology - increase of efficiency of treatment of patients with giant-cell tumor (GCT) and malignant giant-cell tumor (GCT) of bonesby development of new and improvement of existent methods of treatment. Experimental study was devoted to investigation of reparative osteogenesis upon implantation of material on the basis of hydroxyapatite (HA), trycalciumphosphate (TCP) and biocomposite (BCT) into the bone cavity. The methods of the bone defect plastics during bone-plastic operations with the use of HA, TCP and BCS. The method of intraoperative cryosurgery during bone-plastic operations. The method for the combined treatment with the use of bone-plastic surgery and adjuvant radiation therapy has been developed. The method of neoadjuvant intraarterial polychemotherapy and organ-preserving surgical. Finally, there has been carried out an analysis and the algorithm for examination and treatment of the patients with GCT and malignant bone GCT.
