The aim of the thesis is a theoretical generalization and justification of methodological, organizational and methodological principles of a comprehensive statistical analysis of socio-economic development,forecasting and modeling related economic phenomena to develop an information base for management decisions.The research object is the phenomena and processes that shape social and economic development, and their interaction. The subject of research is the theory and methodology of statistical analysis of correlation factors and effective indicators of socio-economic development of the country and its regions.Methods: Economic-statistical, tabular, graphical, nec, correlation and regression, statistical equations dependency index, complex statistical factors, generalization and systematization, analysis and synthesis, index analysis, correlation and regression,equations of statistical dependencies.Scientific novelty of the results lies in solving important scientific problems in government statistics - development of conceptual and methodological bases of statistical analysis of the relationship of indicators of socio-economic development.First: the necessity of the use of statistical equations to analyze the dependency relationship of macroeconomic factors; a methodological basis of analytical calculations according to data variation and time series;Methodological basis for constructing theoretical models of economic phenomena; The methodological principles of statistical modeling of economic factors in the future, the necessity of using complex statistical method factors;The methodological foundations of a comprehensive assessment of socio-economic development in general. Improved: The theory of statistical equations dependencies, examine the impact of methodological bases of particles in the structure of economic phenomena and processes of effective characteristics;methodological basis of assessment of socio-economic performance of local authorities according to the tasks and plans. Were given further development: theoretical generalizations about patterns of state regional policy of Ukraine;system of statistical indicators of socio-economic development; methodological grounds index analysis of the relationship dynamics of the gross domestic product. Scientific and practical results of the thesis are used in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (letter № 2804-25/39, 11.11.09), the Department of Economics Khmelnitsky Regional State Administration (certificate № 01-02/2024, 12.10.09), the Central Statistical Office in Brussels (Dr. № 02-01-15/361, 08.10.09).
