The thesis and analyzed the basic scientific approaches and theories of political motivation. Author offers an understanding of political motivation as any human activity, the contents of which can be interpreted as his participation in thinking, analysis, display, influence the change of objective political reality. The most useful in the study of political motivation is recognized using a pluralistic approach that recognizes the possibility and value of different research paradigms consistently combines different tools of research concepts that define the political motivation as a systemic phenomenon, makes it possible to create a unified theory of political motivation, which is based on an understanding of man as an open system generates a system-integrative research method, which is based on a constructive synthesis of behavioral, cognitive, axiological and other approaches. In clarifying the specific nature of political activity, he does not appeal to her search in the political sphere of public life, ignoring the psychological basis of personality, and focuses on those basics. Much attention in the dissertation examined the theory of political motivation within the behavioral and cognitive approaches, which are also developing conceptual models and innovative methods of epistemological nature, most realize the practical design-creative functions of political analysis, in particular in the study of electoral behavior and electoral choice, increased interest which is due to the specific requirements of companies that are transformed.
