Essay

The thesis presents a scientific solution of the urgent problem of clinical oncology that consists in improvement of functional capabilities of limbs at patients with limbs bone tumors by development and application of optimal sparing reconstructive meth-ods, considering localization and histological features of the tumors. Self-designed implants are submitted for endoprosthesis of large joints. Methods of classical orthopedics and reconstructive surgery are modified and applied for oncology. The comparative description of functional results is given, the complications and tumor recurrences are studied, survival of patients.
