Mil'chev V. Sources on social history of the Zaporozhian Cossacks in the XVIII ct.

The complex research of the sources of Zaporozhian Cossacks' social history of the XVIII ct. was first carried out in the dissertation. The conformities to the law of development of historical and primary sources researches were determined. The place of the Zaporozhian Cossacks in the administrative system and the conformities to the law of documentary sources' funding were ascertained. The specific of the narrative, orally-historical and folk-lore sources' creation and functioning was retraced. The representative sources on social history of Zaporozhian Cossacks in the archived establishments of Ukraine, Russia, Poland, Turkey, Serbia and Croatia were analyzed. The actualized complex of documentary and narrative sources was attributed and classified and the comparative analysis of their structure was carried out. The informative capacity of the actualized source base in relation to the transformation of the social mode, social movements and collective conductive models of the Zaporozhian Cossacks was elucidated.
