Factors and conditions for making up of the electric arc sprayed coatings from the flux cored wires. To state the scientific principles of the optimization of flux cored wires composition for forming electric arc sprayed coatings with established in advance functional properties. The test methods are optical- and electron-microscope investigation (ЕVO-40 XVP), microspectrum (EDXS analyzer) and gas-and-abrasive wear (original device). The selection criterions of flux cored wires compositions are following: for restoration coats - creation of ferritic matrix alloying by Al and C; for coats exploited at the friction of boundary lubrication conditions - three-phase mix martensite-austenite-ferrite structure; for gasoabrasive wear at higher temperatures - the double-layer coats. For the first time the ceramic-oxide layers on the electric arc spraying coatings by flux cored wires in aluminium shell were obtained. Its abrasive wear resistance is increased by 30 %. The industrial sections for restoration of different components by arc spraying with using of engineered flux cored wires were established. Power engineering, polygraphy, gas-transport system, engineering industry are field of application.
