Anikeeva T. Relationship of ischemic heart disease and atherosclerotic lesions of extracardiac arteries: clinical features, pathogenesis and treatment

The object of the research is the atherosclerotic process in patients with coronary heart disease with extracardiac vessels affection. Methods: clinical, immune-enzyme, atomic absorption, physicochemical, biochemical, instrumental and statistical analyses. Novelty is presented as relationship of individual clinical manifestations of coronary heart disease, the degree of sclerosis of different segments of the branches of coronary arteries with vascular disreactivity, the severity of atherosclerotic lesions of extracardiac arteries, defined interaction with the vascular pathology of lipid peroxidation, endothelial function, microelement status, platelet properties. There were discovered the influence of peripheral vascular lesions on the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions. The observed data were introduced into practice of the Institute of urgent and restorative surgery named by V.K.
