Object: Devoted to the theoretical and methodological generalization to elaborate scientific approaches to providing effective strategic financial development of trading enterprises. The approaches offered served as the foundation for the formation and implementation of the proposed financial strategy of these enterprises in the unstable economic environment. Fundamental scientific concepts in strategic management, on which the system of the main notions is created, are systematized to form and realize the financial strategy of trading enterprises. Basic characteristics of financial activities of trading enterprises are researched and formulated, the role of the financial strategy in ensuring the effective development of trading enterprises is determined. The methodological principles for developing the financial strategy of trade enterprises in terms of separate phases and operations are substantiated. Methodological approaches to diagnose strategic opportunities of the financial development of trading enterprises are offered. The basic conceptual framework and methodological tools to implement the financial strategy of trading enterprises are formulated.
