The dissertation is dedicated to the grounding of theoretical and methodological basis of the innovation-oriented approach introduction in the professional training proc-ess students of economic specialties. The concept of an integrative strategy of innovative development of future economists is proposed. The model of the preparation of students of economic specialties for innovation ac-tivity was worked out and experimentally verified. Methodological apparatus for the research of students' readiness for innovative activity components was improved.
