Lykash S. The Correlation of Central and Local Regulation of Labor Relations in Conditions of a Market Economy

Dissertation is devoted to the important theoretical and practical issues of the correlation of centralized and local methods of labor relations regulation in conditions of market economy. Nature and features of these methods are defined. Historical-legal and comparative legal characteristics of forms and ways of centralized and local methods use in labor law are stated. The peculiarities of these methods' realization while labor relations regulating according to international standards in the sphere of labor are clarified. Specific character of centralized and local regulations correlation realization applied both to particular types of employer-employee relations (termination of employment contract, labor discipline, etc.) and some areas of employment regulation on the example of service and employment of policemen is analyzed. Concrete proposals and recommendations for the improvement of Ukrainian labor legislation and its practical application with use of local and centralized methods of labor relations regulation, including the process of harmonization of labor law in Ukraine with EU law are defined.
