Essay

The dissertation is devoted to development of a new direction in lymphotropic therapy - method of endoarterial regional lymphotropic therapy (ERLT) in treatment of patients with severe forms of chronic odontogenic and traumatic osteomyelitis of lower jaw. Applying methods of mathematical statistics, eight signs of local manifestations of the lower jaw osteomyelitis in patients with acute and chronic forms of an odontogenic and traumatic osteomyelitis were selected. The new system of a "score" assessment of symptoms of the investigated pathology was developed on the basis of the unified clinical indexes. This new system does not have metrical expression. The analysis of degree of decrease in clinical signs, monitoring of markers in blood serum, which flew out of focus of lesion characterize indexes of a cellular link of immune response, concentration of neurospecific proteins and pharmacokinetic characteristics of the most wildly used antibiotic agent amoxiclav in the blood serum, as well as accumulation of radioactive 99Ts-tehnefora in the lower jaw tissues allowed to find out pathogenetic mechanisms of development of the destructive processes at early stages of disease and transferring into a chronic stage of inflammatory process of the lower jaw. Medical effect of lymphotropic therapy in postoperative period was investigated also.
