Vovk V. Roman law as phenomena of legal reality

The dissertation is the first work in Ukrainian jurisprudence that is a complex of philosophy and legal research of Roman legal reality. We proposed the cultural and anthropological approach to investigate the Roman law, this approach provides investigation not only as the legal phenomena, but also as social and cultural phenomena. In work we emphasize that Roman law should be analyzed not only as phenomena of spiritual culture, but also as the phenomena of special historical culture and civilization, that specifies the changeability of this historical type of law and determines its variability of social and cultural reality.
