Essay

The thesis deals with the problem of adaptation to ionizing radiation chronic exposure, the development of scientific and methodological foundations of individual radioresistance predicting and the improvement of professional selection for work with ionizing radiation sources. The studies were conducted among Chernobyl exclusion zone staff. Reference group were Lviv city inhabitants. The functional test with physical exercise was employed. Individual parameters of physical condition, cardiohemodynamics and functional status of autonomic nervous system were studied. For testing purposes the automated rapid methods were developed by author. As a result, studies have established a common mechanism of adaptation.
