Essay

In this manuscript it is shown two novel directions of the interaction singular optical beams with the substance. The first direction is connected with the trapping and controllable transportation of microparticles in the gas medium by the optical traps created by the optical vortices. In this research area it is proved theoretically and demonstrated experimentally the phenomenon of stable controllable particle trapping by the thermal forces of photophoresis. The second direction of this work investigates the interaction of ultrashort singular laser pulses with optical transparent substances. The method of conversion of powerful scalar and vector singular beams in anisotropic uniaxial crystal that is developed in work is the basis of this direction.
