Essay

The dissertation deals with the problems of interpretation, use and improvement of criminal legislation concerning crimes in the field of intellectual property. Social determination of criminalization of idem infringements is traced, author's conception of the system of such crimes is put forward and grounded, historical experience of criminal-legal protection of within-named rights is elucidated in the thesis. On basis of generalization of scientific literature, questionnaire design and court practice analysis criminogenic determinants of crimes in the field of intellectual property are studied; legal and illegal methods of counteraction to such infringements are also defined.
