Essay

The object of investigation - immunological deficiency (ID) in tuberculosis (TB). Purpose - to improve outcomes of treatment and prevention of TB by the justification of individualized immunocorrection schemes in TB patients, individuals with large residual post-tuberculosis changes in lungs and children who should get BCG revaccination, which is based on the identification of pathogenetic types and variants of immunodepression. Methods: immunological, microbiological, general clinical and radiological methods of patients examination; immunological, biological and morphological studies of experimental animals; statistics. Results: Three pathogenetic types of ID in TB - premorbidal, induced by mycobacteria and iatrogenic were differentiated and frequency of their variants for the location, character and degree of immunological changes were detected. In experiment the efficiency of the usage of omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids and RNA-tiloron molecular complex in TB treatment and prevention of vaccine-related complications after BCG vaccination in immunodeficient animals was proved. Iindividualized immunocorrection in patients with pulmonary TB, which is based on the identification of ID pathogenic type, location, character and degree were justified. The algorithms of individualized anti-relapses immunocorrection in patients with large residual changes in the lungs after TB and BCG revaccination under the protection of immunomodulators in children with immunodepression were created. Area of application: phthisiatry and clinical immunology.
