Dissertation is devoted complex research of role and place of ethnic Ukrainians in Romania, and, accordingly, - Romanians in Ukraine in the wide spectrum of modern bilateral relations, that to this time was not the article of the special historical research and remained insufficiently known direction for Ukrainian historiography. This theme, as a rule, was probed fragmentary, without presentation of integral picture and in a context in general lines historical works. Under such circumstances etnopolitical aspect in Ukrainian-Romanian mutual relations acquires the special weight. A still tendency to the search of structural compromise in the decision of the noted problem question between Ukraine and Romania it remains the actual task of Ukrainian diplomacy and science. Therefore the proper research of role and place of the proper national minorities in becoming and development of intergovernmental relations the search of effective methods of decision of existent sharp etnopolitical problems in these relations takes a separate place in historical science and has system and purposeful character.
