Essay

The thesis is devoted to the analysis of theoretical principles of imposing sanctions in criminal law. It was determined that theoretical principles of imposing sanctions in criminal law include theory of sanction in law, principles of criminal law, goals of criminal enforcement, differentiation and individualization of liability in criminal law, legal structure as an instrument of legal methodology. The meaning of 'sanction building' and the factors which have effect on the sanction-building were described. Legal methodology techniques and rules used to design criminal sanctions were characterized.
