Fastovets O. Clinical-pathogenetic substantiation of complex treatment of pathologic tooth wear

It has been established the considerable prevalence of pathological tooth wear among the persons under 40 and the respective high necessity in treatment-and-diagnostic measures. Conceptually the pathological tooth wear has been presented as a consequence of good resistance of periodontal tissues to occlusion loading caused heightened mineral density of bone tissue of the whole skeleton. The important role in the development of progressive form of disease has been given to erosion caused by gastrointestinal pathology or total metabolic acidosis, without significant involvement of oral acidogenic microflora. The detection of Helicobacter pylori on the tongue has been determined as a marker of conditions of malignant current of process. Concordantly to the results of carried out clinical-laboratory investigations it has been created and approved the methods of early diagnostics of tooth wear, its preventive therapy and reconstructive treatment by direct composite restorations and retention inserts. It has been studied the quality of crowns' fixation on low teeth by different cements. The obtained results have been generalized in the scheme of dynamic observation of the patients.
