The dissertation contains the author’s concept of criminal sanctions norms fundamentals and principles construction. There are available definitions of criminal sanctions, their essence analysis, legal nature and essential features. The analysis of the sanctions norms of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (CCU) in context of forced and incentive penalties separation and a brief description of the sanctions concerning the processes of social interaction are presented.
