Essay

Object - plasticized and solid polymeric materials with ionic conductivity. Purpose - development of scientific and technical bases of polymeric materials obtaining with high ionic conductivity and thermal stability over a wide temperature range and good physical and mechanical properties, as well as to investigate the possibility of their practical application as the polymer electrolyte materials into electrochemical devices for various purposes. Methods - X-ray diffraction and thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry, pyrolysis mass-spectrometry, IR and FT-IR-spectroscopy, impedance spectroscopy, potentiodynamic and galvanostatic cycling. Results - conducted systematic research on the synthesis and properties of new non-ionic, cationic and anionic polymer matrices, developed the scientific and technical basis for new plasticized and solid (the so-called "solvent-free" and "water-free") of polymer electrolyte materials and membranes with high ionic conductivity in the temperature range from minus 20oC to plus 150oC.
