Kyrychenko I. Principles of efficient formation of the modular road-construction machines

The thesis deals with solving the problem of increasing efficiency of produc-tion and operation of road-construction machines with modular design based on the functional and technological analysis as well as on optimization of means of mechanization, complexes and standard series of machines. For the first time the concept of functional and technological analysis of totality of technical objects assembled from modular elements has been formulated. The information and logical structure of the analytical research into modular articulated machines that provides for the formation of the generalized mathematical models applicable to machines with various functional and technological properties has been developed. Wide-scale research and tests for the vehicles such as motor graders, loaders, scrapers, and specially developed modular machines for road construction. Methods of computer simulation of operating processes in pneumatic-tired ar-ticulated machines on the example of loaders and motor graders have been devel-oped.
