The broad objective of this research is to examine the theoretical problems of the implementation of “legal financial obligation” category in the Science of Financial Law. The study has explored and defined the problematic issues of the genesis of application of the “obligation” category in the Financial Law, and analysed the methods and approaches of this category application in the legal science as a whole. Modern problems of determination of the legal financial regulation subject and its influence on the update of terminology have been uncovered.
