Ogorenko V. Depressive disorders in multiple sclerosis (clinics, diagnosis, therapy)

This thesis provides a conceptual model of pathogenesis of mental disorders in the structure of early clinical manifestations of brain tumors (BT). Fundamental research, confirming the role of clinical characteristics of tumor process demographic, social, psychological and psychosocial factors in the development and dynamics of psychopathological disorders as early clinical manifestations of brain tumors formation allowed to develop diagnostic criteria and principles of treatment and rehabilitation in the structure of psychiatric care for patients with brain tumors. Two variants of dynamics in psychopathological disorders as clinical manifestations of brain tumors with intrasyndrome and entersyndrome polymorphism have been highlighted. It has been established that in patopsychological forming mechanisms of mental disorders in brain tumors: non-adaptive treatment variations of diseases can be considered as the leading ones. Elicited clinical features, pathogenetic regularities of formation and dynamics of mental disorders in brain tumors determine the principles of treatment and rehabilitation measures in the structure of psychiatric care for patients with brain tumors at different stages of treatment and diagnostic process.
