Antonenko M. Scientific grounding of the modern strategy of periodontal diseases prevention in Ukraine.

Theoretical generalization and practical grounding rationale of actual health care problem - the periodontal diseases prevention in Ukraine are given in dissertation. The Researches included the medical and statistical monitoring and identification of population and individual factors of the high risk of generalized periodontal diseases among the population of Ukraine at a young age (19-33 years); organizational support for the early detection of inflammatory and dystrophic-inflammatory generalized periodontal disease by screening of the population and persons with a high risk of their occurrence. A method of improvement of organizational support of prophylactic medical examination and treatment of patients with initial forms of generalized periodontal disease and using possibilities of timely, accessible, high-performance diagnostics and treatment-and-prophylactic assistance. The result of the work was scientific basis for a modern strategy of periodontal disease prevention, which includes priorities and takes into account the state of development of the health system and economic development of the country. According to the results of the implementation of the elaborated strategy proved its medical, social and economic efficiency.
