Saschuk G. Political and cultural determinants of information society development in Ukraine

Dissertation is devoted to the definition of political and cultural determinants of the formation and development of information society in Ukraine. Shown that the information society - a society of a new type, generated a new global social revolution (explosive development and convergence of information and communication technologies), provides social and cultural aspects of life is less important than material and economic, that creates a new global vision of the world. Determined that the information society must meet a fundamentally new type of culture, which is the dominant information culture, understood not in the narrow - technocratic or information technology, and in general - cultural significance. Determining role in shaping information culture in contemporary Ukraine has an education in the indissoluble unity and balance of technical, technological and humanitarian aspects. The task of political analysis process has become a culture of information society in modern Ukraine, which resulted in his kontseptualizuyutsya dominant and main determinants.
