Object of research - a palliative treatment of patients with colorectal cancer. A research objective: to improve palliative care and quality of life of patients with colorectal cancer with liver metastases by optimizing the prevention, early diagnosis and implementation of active surgical tactics. Research methods - clinical, instrumental, laboratory, cytologic, morphologic, genetic, statistical processing of results. Novelty: it is shown that the combined use of palliative selective intra-arterial chemotherapy with cytoreductive operations improve the three-year cumulative survival rate of patients. Results: The integrated use of palliative selective intra-arterial chemotherapy with surgical interventions cytoreductive operations the three-year cumulative survival rate of patients with liver disease unilobar to 48,1 ± 2,2%, with the continuation of disease: intrahepatic metastasis - to 19 ± 1,9%, distant metastases - to 27,6 ± 2,4%. It is introduced in practice of the Donetsk regional antitumoral centre, Dnepropetrovsk Clinical Oncology Center, Transcarpathian Regional Clinical Oncology Center, the Crimean republican institutions "Clinical Oncology Dispensary", Oncology Center of Mariupol. Results of work are used in educational process of Donetsk national medical university named after M.Gorky. A field of application: medicine (oncology).
