Essay

The object of the study are reinforce-concrete frame constructions and buildings exposed to seismic influences and also their interaction with the surface seismic waves. The objective of this research is to develop scientific methods of design using the mathematical models of constructions and influences that provide earthquake resistance of frame constructions and buildings. Methods are theoretical and numerical research of work of frame constructions and buildings using the numerical-analytical methods, the finite element method, the precision analysis of the obtained data in comparison to the experimental research and the data of other authors. Results is the scientific thesis, which totality can be characterized as a new perspective direction of the design of frame buildings and constructions, of both building and seismic influences taking into account three-dimensional deformation and the unevenness of the vibration field of the ground; the practical method of calculation of regular frame buildings was developed; the problem of the vibrations of irregular constructions and buildings taking into account three-dimesnional character of distribution of seismic waves was solved; the mathematical models of seismic influences taking into account final speed of distribution of three-dimensional seismic waves were developed ; the new method of calculation of mooring constructions of trestle-type type as unified three-dimensional systems was developed; the influence of different parameters of configuration of constructions and buildings on forming of seismic loadings was studied, the comparative analysis of the found results with the consequences of earthquakes was conducted. Novelty - the scientific value of the conducted research contains the fact that the first theoretical apparatus was offered and the calculation models representing the real behavior of a reinforce-concrete frame building at seismic influences taking into account their three-dimensional work and the unevenness of the vibration field of the ground under a building were developed. Implementation - the applied value of the considered work consists of new possibilities of objective estimation of the load-carrying ability of a building or a construction at seismic influences. The obtained practical results of the research provide possibility of application of economically reliable engineering and design decisions for frame constructions and buildings during construction as well as during reconstruction and renewal of buildings' life utility. The results of the research are taken into account in the national normative documents.
