Object of research - treatment of patients with unresectable gastric cancer. A research objective: to improve the treatment of patients with gastric cancer by using new methods of regional intra-arterial chemotherapy. Research methods - clinical, instrumental, laboratory, cytologic, morphologic, genetic, statistical processing of results. Novelty: it is shown that the combined use of palliative selective intra-arterial chemotherapy with cytoreductive operations improve the three-year cumulative survival rate of patients. Results: the use of new methods of regional intra-arterial chemotherapy has increased the life expectancy of patients: with unresectable gastric cancer median survival in the 1st study group was 13 ± 0,7 months, in the 1st control - 5,0 ± 0,8 months (p <0.001), with resectable gastric cancer with liver metastases the median survival in the 2nd study group was 19,5 ± 0,2 months, in the 2nd control - 16 ± 0,3 months (p <0,001), with resectable stomach cancer with the presence of circulating tumor cells in the portal blood flow to the median survival of patients with third study group was 3,2 ± 0,2 years, in the third control - 2,6 ± 0,2 years (p <0,001) It is introduced in practice of the Donetsk regional antitumoral centre, Oncology Center of Mariupol, Kramatorsk and Gorlovsky oncology clinics Results of work are used in educational process of Donetsk national medical university named after M.Gorky. A field of application: medicine (oncology).
